I will be reviewing the article, “Alien Remains or Wishful Thinking?” written by Meera Dolasia. Humans have been wondering for centuries if there are other forms of life in Outer Space. One anthropologist believes he may have found clues to answer that question.

I was assigned to the article," Surfing Compition With a Creative Twist" by: Meera Dolasia on 11/21/11. This article is mainly about surfers not only competing to get a good wave, but also being creative with different types of surf boards and costumes. This competition was organized by officials of the tiny surfing village of Kommetjie. This competition was a part of a festival called the inaugural festival held to promote community spirit and gain funds for local projects. According to the author," Some of the most innovative ones included surfer Chip Snaddon, who took home a brand new wetsuit and title of 'best dressed' with his blue bottle outfit. Mikah Burger won a custom surfboard for 'Most original' with his alien UFO surfing attire. The title of most 'Original Craft' was handed out to a duo who strapped their boards together and then tried to surf. Needless to say, while hilarious, they were not very successful!"

The article I’m reviewing this week is “Scientists Unearth World's Largest Spider Fossil”. This article was published by Meera Dolasia. I’ve personally always wanted to know if spiders could be larger than they are. If spiders are large enough could we be their prey?

I chose the article Polish Salt Miners Create an Underground Architectural Wonder. It is by Meera Dolasia. I chose this article because I wanted to learn about this museum. It is cheap to get into the museum.

The officials at the Marine Mammal Center that offer rewards to try catch these ruthless people, are urging them not to harm these innocent mammals. What makes a bad situation even worse, is the fact that these resilient animals do not die from the bullet wounds - Instead, they struggle for weeks thanks to their injuries and end up dying from starvation because they cannot fend for themselves.

This week I am reviewing the article :"Graveyard of Pre-Historic Whales Unearthed in Worlds Driest Desert:". More than 80 whales have been unearthed in a corner of Chiles Atacama. Most of the fossils have been of Baleen whales, but scientists have also found fossils of a Sperm whale and even the fossils of the extinct dolphin that had two walrus-like teeth. These fossils are between 2 million and 7 million years old.

I am reviewing the article "New Zealand's Oiled Penguins Released Back Into The Ocean" by Meera Dolasia. 49 Little Blue Penguins were released back into the ocean by some Tauranga students on December 7th. The penguins were from a group of 343 that were rescued and nursed back to health from one New Zealand's worst pollution disasters.
