1.) Hurricanes are fed by warm air and are usually formed near the gulf. Air from surrounding areas with higher air pressure pushes into a low pressure area. Then, the new air becomes moist and warm and rises to. Most hurricanes are found near the Gulf because the Gulf waters are warm and moist, and make it easier for hurricanes to form.

1.Hurricanes can only form over large basins of warm water such as an ocean or sea. This is due to the fact that they need a large amount of energy which is supplied by the heat from the warm ocean waters evaporating into the atmosphere. Most of the hurricanes occur at the Atlantic Basin, Pacific Basin (East), Pacific Basin (West), and the Indian Basin.

Hurricanes can only form over large basins of warm water such as an ocean or sea. This is due to the fact that they need a large amount of energy which is supplied by the heat from the warm ocean waters evaporating into the atmosphere. Hurricanes also occur at least several degrees away from the equator. This is because the Coriolis force is too weak at the equator to generate spin for the hurricane.

1.) Hurricanes form over the ocean, and they affect the us by it destroying homes, buildings, and people. This is why you must take hurricanes seriously and know what to do when one comes.

1. Most hurricanes that affect us here in the U.S. form in the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean near the East coast. They form with warm moist air and warm water, and wind. Then you have a hurricane.

Hurricanes form when areas of low atmospheric pressure move off Africa and into the Atlantic. Air moves all directions.

1.) Hurricanes usually form in the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean. Hurricanes form in the warm waters near the equator. They are counter-clockwise spinning weather patterns that can travel at speeds up to 60 mph but that more than likely move at around 15-20 mph.

1.) Hurricanes form when warm ocean water provides energy for the hurricane causing more evaporation and making clouds. Winds coming together force air upward. Then the winds flow outward above the storm allowing the air below to rise. The humid, rising air makes the hurricane's clouds. The winds outside the hurricane steer it and let it grow. Hurricanes form in the North Atlantic Ocean, Eastern North Pacific Ocean, Northwest Pacific Ocean, Bay of Bengal / Arabian Sea, Southwest Pacific Ocean, Southeast Indian Ocean, and Southwest Indian Ocean.
