For this week’s article I am doing “Scientists Discover Animals That Can Live Without Oxygen” By Meera Dolasia created on 4/10/10. Many or most animals have to have oxygen to stay alive; some Marine Biologists believe that they may have discovered a new species. This species of Metazooa or multi-celled animals can maybe be able or can survive without Oxygen. No isn’t that cool??!?!

I’m doing the article “Turn Your Cotton T-Shirt Into Wearable Armor”. This article was originally written by Meera Dolasia. This article is about how superheroes always seem to be wearing clothes that look ridged and uncomfortable. Well that’s because they’re based on current protective gear therefore making them hard and inflexible. Now, have you ever wanted to be a superhero?....Well it seems that scientists have discovered a solution to turn regular cotton t-shirts into extra-ordinary protective gear. That seems pretty easy doesn’t it? Well here is the catch…. They can do this without changing the texture.

I am reviewing "Lost World In New Guinea" by Meera Dolasia. Scientists have went to New Guinea and discovered new forms of amphibians reptiles and even some insects. all of them were found in a remote place called Foja Mountains. Its a great new discovery for scientists.

This article is about how on May 9, 2010 pictures were taken of the largest planet in our solar system has lost one of its two red stripes. The stripe that was lost was the one in the south part of the planet. This isn't the first time this has happened thou. According to experts they say this stripe was saw three months before just before the planet went behind the Sun's when it was in orbit.

The reason why honeybees are dying is because people are taking there honey away from them and they are even poisoning them that is why the population is so low. People think that the best way to get rid of them is to kill them.

The article I am reviewing this week is Deciphered! The Secret Language of Orangutans, by Meera Dolasia. I picked this article because, first of all the picture is adorable, and I love Orangutans, and second because I’ve always wondered what monkeys and Orangutans are saying, maybe I’ll find out!

I am doing my article on Transform Your Palm into a Touch Screen. Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University and Microsoft Inc are making a new thing called “Skinput”. A sensor recognizes what part of the skin is being tapped and then it looks at what that area represents. Every skin location sounds different when you either press or tap it. A prototype has been made and they tested it on 20 people and it works 99.5% of the time. Skinput applies wireless technology to transmit the command to the device. Scientists say they picked the human body because we have about two square feet of unused canvas we hardly use. Since people are always losing their cell phone they will never lose it again. Unless well, they lose their arm but I doubt that so let’s move on. I chose this article because it looked interesting to me I like to use an iPod touch and it is very similar. This is why I chose this article.

Well, the article I will be doing is “Video of The Week-Can You Spot the Gorilla?” This article has been written by Meera Dolasia. I would have to say it looks like the main idea in this paragraph is that people don’t focus on the less interesting, they focus on the things that catch their attention. For example in this topic a guy dressed as a gorilla is running around a group of people. Well, of course that’s what the audience is going to likely focus on. What would you do if you saw a giant gorilla running around a stage?
