This week I’m doing the article “Boo Mania Sweeps Over America (And The World) by Kavi Dolasia. He has the world’s chicest hairstyle, over 2 million fans on Facebook, a best-selling book, and is a favorite among celebrities. No folks it’s not Justin Bieber but only a five year old Pomeranian called Boo. Boo was nominated the world’s cutest dog and is very popular.

The article that I have chosen for this week was “High-School Runner Displays True Sportsmanship” by Meere Dolasia. This article is about a high school cross country runner that showed good sportsmanship in a cross country meet for a person that was on a rival team that was hurt and couldn't run the rest of the race.

This week for my article review I am writing about “100 Year Old Marathon Runner Keep Going and Going and…” By: Meera Dolasia. Move over Energizer bunny, here comes Fauja Singh, A 100-year old British resident who is still competing in marathons, without the help of any batteries! What's even more shocking is that this amazing man began his running spree at the age of 89! Can you imagine running marathons at 89? I can’t! Mr. Singh was born on April 1, 1911 and spent most of his life in Punjab, India, helping on the farmland. Fauja enjoyed running in his early years, but he never took it as a sport until he moved to England around 20 years ago.

This week I chose the article Japan’s Solution to Future Natural Disasters – A Floating Capsule by Meera Dolasia to review. The reason I chose this particular article is because I know that the Tsunami that hit Japan just recently devastated so many people, and thanks to people like the one that invented what I’m about to tell you about, Japan may never be that depressed, and they might not lose as many people. And if one of these capsules only saves one life from another natural disaster, it was worth every bit of the labor and effort put into it.

The article I have chose for this week is Milwaukee primates love their iPads. The author of this article is Meera Dolasi. You know how most zoos give their primates new swings and tree houses well the Milwaukee zoo is giving their primates iPads with free apps and games.

I am doing my article on “2 Apps and a Startup, and He’s only 12!” by Meera Dolasia. I picked this article because I think this kid is amazing with technology and I could never do anything like this right now. They say wunderkind is an understatement because while most sixth graders are just in school trying to just pass but this kid, Thomas Suarez, is making iPhone Apps and is in the process of making a company, and doing all of his school work.

My article is by Meera Dolasiaon and the name of the articles name is 2Apps and a start-up- and he's only 12. The article is about a boy that is 12 and he has already made 2 apps and has already started up with becoming a star the boy lives in Southern California and his name is Thomas Suarez he attends South Bay of Los Angles Middle School. His first release dubbed Earth Fortune is a fun game that changes the color of the globe Depending on its prediction for your fortune. Some of his other inventions on the ipad are like Whoa-A-Mole games, but except your not using a mole your using Justin Bieber. He has been getting in to many different app programs he started out as just making a little app just to see how it would go but now that he knows how to make apps on the ipad and the ipod touch he wants to make things for the droid and other forms of technology. I picked this article because i thought that it would be nice to learn about a 12 year old that already has made 2 apps and has a start up i tough that was really cool and i loved this article out of any of the ones i have done this year and that is why i picked this article.

A sheep is a sheep is a sheep right? Apparently not, if you happen to be part of the rare Dolan breed. With only 1,000 of them known to exist in the world, they have become a coveted pet amongst China's wealthiest that are ready to pay hefty sums to get their hands on one.
