1. I think that this project is going to be one of our best projects that we have ever done. I think this because we are using a lot of all the things we are putting into it. For instance, us making our own pictures and not using all of them from the internet. Also plotting points in Google earth.

This week I’m reviewing the article “Pillow Fighting Becomes A legitimate Sport!” originally written by Meera Dolasia. We all have pillow fights and most of the time our parents get on to us and tell us to quit. Well the next time that happens just tell them that you’re training for a championship. You can choose to believe it or not but whatever you decide it really is a legitimate sport to smack someone with a fluffy pillow. The competition is complete with a world cup and everything.

The article that I chose this week was called “ Will Mexico City Be Home To The Worlds First Earthscraper”, written by Meera Dolasia. This article is about the idea of making basically an underground skyscraper. They plan for this Earthscraper to be 65 stories but underground. The problem that they are faced with tho is the fact that Mexico was an 8 story building limit.

My article is by Meera Dolasia and the name of the article is Australia Unveils Million Dollar Coin. On October 27th, 2011 Australia’s Perth Mint unveiled the world’s biggest, heaviest, and the most valuable coin ever made. It was crafted out of pure gold, the coin measures80cms wide and more than 12 cms deep, and weighs a whopping 2,200 pounds. It is actual value estimated to be about AUS$53.5 mm, thanks to the gold it is made out of. The front of the coin features Australia’s national symbol-The kangaroo, around it is rays of sunshine, and it reads AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO 1 TONNE 9999 GOLD, and the year 2012. On the back of the coin it features the Head of State – Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2. It took 18 months to make the coin, and I has already made its way into the record books and is bound to stay there for a while, given the fact that it is about ten times heavier than the previous recorded holder which is A One Million Canadian Dollar Coin. The mint has no intention of selling it. I liked this articl because i thouhgt that it would be nice to learn about a million dollar coin that was made.

The article that I chose for this week was This Goat has Maaaad Skills! By Meera Dolasia. The reason that I chose this article was because I thought that nothing is really more unique than a goat surfing. SERIOUSLY??? I, personally, have heard about surfing dogs, but a surfing goat? That. Is. Awesome. When I read the article I was thinking the same thing. Listen to this!!

This week the article I am doing is called Are The World's Smallest And Largest Lizards Both Victims of Island Dwarfism? By: Meera Dolasia. Last week scientists announced the discovery of 4 miniature reptiles. On an island in Madagascar scientists found little lizards that ranged from 29 millimeters to just over an inch. Brookesia Micra the smallest was very shocking in size! The young ones can barely fit on the head of a match stick.

The article I am reviewing is “Acrobat Gets Ready to Tightrope across the Niagara Falls” By Meera Dolasia on 02/20/2012. This article is about Nik Wallenda saying when he was 2 years old he has been fantasying about walking across the mighty Niagara Falls on a tightrope. Canada's Niagara Falls Commission finally reversed an earlier ruling and granted the now 33-year old permission to perform the stunt - with the caveat that something like this be allowed once every twenty years. Since the father of three, who comes from a family of circus performers known as The Flying Wallendas. The Florida resident, who does not plan on wearing a harness, believes it will take him about 40 minutes to complete the 1,800-ft. long walk. If he succeeds, he will be first person to do so, in over a hundred years. A Frenchman by the name of Jean Francous Gravelet was the first person to ever attempt this rather dangerous stunt. Nik is no stranger to risky tightrope ventures. The acrobat currently holds six Guinness World Records, including one for the longest distance and greatest height traveled on a bicycle perched on tightrope, for walking across the tightrope blindfolded and even for cooking an omelet in the the center of the tightrope. The reason I picked this article is because walking on a rope from a long way from the ground and having to concentrate on not falling that’s crazily AWESOME. I also thought this article would be cool to learn about.

The article I am summarizing is “Italians Re-enact Medieval Battle - With Rotten Oranges!” It seems as though Italians love a good fight, a food fight. First there is the La Tomatina, where brave souls pelt each other with tomatoes and now the Battaglia delle Arance or Battle of the Oranges, where, thousands of people toss rotten oranges at each other.
