The article I will be summarizing is Lonely Albino Seal Gets A New Home, by Meera Dolasia. The main idea of this article is that even though the seal is a baby and cute his family turned away and left him there to die.

This week I’m doing the article “Panama Surfer’s Amazing 41.3 mile Wave Ride!” by Meera Dolasia. Surfing is pretty challenging and if you’ve ever tried it you know how tiring it can be even if your ride is only a few minutes long. So just try and imagine how rough it must’ve been while battling the water for 41.3 miles. The journey was not only long but the waves and wind conditions were extremely rough.

The article I am summarizing is “World's Smallest Teen Crowned World's Smallest Woman” by Meera Dolasia. I chose this article because it interested me to know that such a small woman is living in our big world today. As I reviewed this article, this is what I have learned.

I am doing my article on 'Shanghai Creates Chocolate Wonderland' by Meera Dolasia. On Friday 16 (thankfully not the 13) China opened there doors to a chocolate wonderland. Everything ( and I mean everything) is made of chocolate!! When they opened the first thing they did was, they held a fashion show entirely made out of chocolate. They have made a feirce ( but edible ) terra cotta warriors. Almost 1,000,000 little warriors with lots of detail!

My article is By Meera Dolasia and the name of it is New Zealand's Oiled Penguins Released Back Into The Ocean . This article is about the oil spill and how they rescued the penguins from the oil spill. They released 343 oiled birds back in to the ocean. The spill happened by when a cargo ship named Rena, hit an underwater reef in the Bay of Plenty, off the coast of Tauranga and split 400 tons of oil into the pristine ocean water, when the 343 penguins were saved well the other 2000 birds did not make it. They set a day were they could release the birds back in to the ocean and lots of people came to see them watile in to the ocean again after being covered in oil. To make sure that they were ready to go back in to the ocean they were subjected to a rigorous six-hour swimming test in pools with high saline levels to ensure that they would be able to withstand the ocean. But they could not ceep the remaining 200 birds still housed with the Oiled Wildlife Response Center will be released soon, since keeping wild penguins in captivity for too long, is not beneficial to their well-being and can result in injuries and illnesses. I liked this article because it told me about the oil spill and how it affected the sea animals.
